About
I started as a data scientist. I now look at AX and finance.
I am Jacob Shin, based in Seoul.
I was a data scientist. These days I work on enterprise AX, and I keep a close interest in finance. The Archive is where I keep the judgments I form in that space, so I can open them again later.
It is not a feed built to publish more often. I built it to keep what I saw, what I assumed, and what would make me change my mind. The longer version of that argument is in Why I Keep Research as an Archive, Not a Feed.
I currently keep the work in five places. Investing holds markets, positions, and the claims they rest on. AI & AX holds transformation as I see it at work. Lab holds experiments and code you can rerun. Mathematics holds the language of decisions. Perspectives holds views that are still taking shape.
Each piece starts with a question. I explain, then try the idea in a model or an example, then write only what I can still stand behind. Explain → Model → Test → Interpret. Korean is the source edition. The English pages are edited from the same argument and evidence, not translated line by line. I do not bury mistakes, and when a view changes I leave the reason in the text.

Investing pieces are for research and record-keeping. They are not investment advice. Judgment and risk stay with the reader.
